Clothing & Accessory Return Policy

  • Merchandise must be postmarked within 18 days from date shipped. After 18 days only a store credit will be issued.
  • Merchandise must not be worn, altered, or washed, returned with all original packaging, hangars, and dust bags when included. We must get back everything we sent to you.
  • Merchandise must have all original tags attached.
  • Please Note: Shipping and handling charges are not refundable on purchases shipped to you, but ALL items currently come with FREE ground shipping!
  • We will pay for returns only if you use the prepaid return shipping label we provide.
  • Final Sale items may not be returned
  • If items are on sale for 20% or more off of their original retail price, they will not qualify for free return labels. If you would like us to send you a return label, we will deduct $8 for the return label from your refunded total. A return authorization will still be required before you mail back the return item.
  • Accessories marked down by 20% or more are final sale and cannot be returned.
  • Any clothing marked down 50% or more can be returned for a store credit only.
  • Please note that damaged items must be returned within 14 days from the date your order was shipped to you to receive a refund or exchange. After 14 days only a store credit will be issued.

All returns must be sent back to The Getaway with within the timeline detailed above. Any COD returns will be refused and sent back to the customer. Please keep a tracking record to make sure we receive the return.

Gift Returns

We are happy to accommodate all gift returns. Gifts can be returned for either an exchange or a store credit. We can only issue a refund to the credit card of the original purchaser of the gift order.

Clothing & Accessory Exchange Policy

Exchanges are based upon product availability. If you would like to exchange an item, please notify us at contact@shopthegetaway.com. Once received, we will ship out your exchange free of charge. Please email us to receive your free UPS return label for the return.

If you purchased an item and it has gone on sale within 7 days from your purchase date, you may request a store credit ONLY for the difference.

Refunds & Processing Time

If your package arrives at The Getaway warehouse postmarked within the timeline specified above, your refund will be processed in the original form of payment within 5 business days. You will be notified via email to the address listed on your account when this transaction has taken place. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from The Getaway. Returns postmarked late will be charged a 20% restocking fee on the original purchase price of the item being returned. If we have sent you a prepaid return label, and you have not sent back your purchase, the prepaid label will be voided after 5 business days and you will then be responsible for any fees associated with sending back the return. Returns will not be accepted if postmarked after 21 days from the day the order was shipped.

If your order qualifies for free shipping, but we receive a return from a carrier that states you have provided an incorrect or undeliverable address, the shipping will then be deducted from the amount refunded to your account. If your paid for shipping and we receive your order back from a carrier for because you provided an incorrect or undeliverable address, you will receive a full refund less the cost of shipping.

*Missing items. We must be notified within 48hrs of delivery if an item is missing from your order.
